When sending or receiving cryptocurrency for your deposits or withdrawals, remember that each address is valid only for a specific currency. Addresses cannot be used across multiple types of currency.
IMPORTANT! The software will still allow a transaction to be requested, even if the wrong address is used. This can result in long delays or possibly a complete loss of funds if the address and currency do not match.
To give an example, if you’re going to send Bitcoin (BTC) to deposit, make sure you go to Deposit → Bitcoin in the Galaxy Cashier and generate an address from there. Then, when you go to your exchange wallet, double-check that the currency you are sending to that address is also Bitcoin (BTC).
