Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency, launched in 2009, and remains to this day the most widely used. Any cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin is commonly known as an “Altcoin” (as in “alternative” coin).

The currencies currently offered, because of speed and overall stability, are:
