Teasers are wagers on football or basketball in which 2 to 7 teams are selected together in one wager with point spreads and/or totals adjusted in your favor.
With point spreads the teaser simply adds points to the regular line. With totals, the teaser either adds or subtracts (depending on whether you bet over or under).
Example #1 - Point Spreads: 2 team teaser getting +6 pts
- Green Bay Packers +4 (+6) pts = the teased line is now +10
- New Orleans Saints -3 (+6) pts = the teased line is now +3
Example #2 - Totals: 2 team teaser getting +7 pts
- NY Giants / Philadelphia Eagles Over 48 (-7) pts = the teased total is now 41
- Denver Broncos / KC Chiefs Under 42 (+7) pts = the teased total is now 49
