Betting Rules for Over/Under on Number of Slaps in a Power Slap Match

Qualifying Slap Definition

Only clean, legal slaps officially counted as strikes by match officials contribute to the total slap count. Slaps that result in fouls or resets (re-slaps) do not count toward the total.

Non-Counting Slaps

  • Clubbing Slaps: Any slap deemed as clubbing and resulting in a foul will not contribute to the total.
  • Flinching Slaps: If the defender flinches and the striker receives a re-slap, the original slap does not count toward the total.

Determining the Over/Under Result

The total number of qualifying slaps delivered before the match concludes will determine the outcome of Over/Under bets. If the total number of qualifying slaps matches the betting line exactly, the bet will be considered a push, and the stakes will be refunded.

Early Match End

If the match ends prematurely due to a knockout (KO), TKO, injury, or disqualification, all bets remain valid as long as at least one qualifying slap has been recorded.

Official Source

The official slap count will be determined by the governing body’s ruling and the official event results. Any changes to the count post-event will not affect the bet settlement.

Disputes & Adjustments

In the event of any ambiguity or dispute regarding qualifying slaps, bets will be settled based on the final official ruling by event officials.

These rules aim to provide clarity and fairness for betting on the total number of slaps in a Power Slap match.

Definition of Over/Under Finishing Position

This bet revolves around the final position a driver or racer achieves in the official race standings. The sportsbook sets a projected finishing position line (e.g., 3.5), and bettors wager on whether the driver will finish higher (under) or lower (over) than that position.

How the Bet is Graded

  • Under: The racer must finish in a position lower than the listed number (i.e., closer to 1st place).
  • Over: The racer must finish in a position higher than the listed number (i.e., further from 1st place).

Example Bet (Finishing Position 3.5)

If the driver's finishing position line is set at 3.5:

  • Betting Under 3.5 wins if the driver finishes 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.
  • Betting Over 3.5 wins if the driver finishes 4th or worse.

Official Race Results Determine Bet Settlement

The final, official results as declared by the race’s governing body will be used to settle all bets. Any penalties, disqualifications, or adjustments made after the official results are posted will not affect the outcome of the bet.

Did Not Finish (DNF) & Disqualifications

If a driver starts the race but does not finish (DNF), their last recorded position in the official results will be used to determine the bet settlement.

Ties & Pushes

  • If the finishing position line is a whole number (e.g., 4.0) and the driver finishes exactly at that position, the bet is considered a push, and stakes are refunded.
  • If the finishing position line includes a half-point (e.g., 3.5), there will be no push, and the bet will be resolved with a clear over/under result.
